A Moment in Time
Alone in the desert at dusk
It was warm
The sun had ceased its blazing but left its heat, retained in the grains of sand under my bare feet
The wind wrapped itself around me, stroking its silky tendrils against my skin as it whispered the secrets it had gathered on its travels
God poured a glass of honey into the azure vessel of the sky
And as I watched blue turn to gold, wings cut through the horizon and soared into infinity

Tomorrow...
What will tomorrow bring?
